Default Mah wifey's cute warrior build...

She's great... In terms of gaming, more so than the average girl...

here's an idea she asked me about and I want some help/input

She loves assassin, but made a warrior to tank.

Can you have asssassin for secondary? of course! The 2 melee based class in the game as one class? Painful to fight against? I'd definitely bet that W/A could very well be the best melee class in the game since both classes are geared toward in yo face slicing.

She went sword with me being the Axe Man W/N.

W/A PvE

16 Swordsmanship
9 Strength
8 Tactics
8 Shadow Arts

To the Limit!
Sever Artery
Final Thrust
Bonetti's Defense
Victory is Mine! {E}
Signet of Malice
Caltrops
Shroud of Distress

This is a PvE build I've made up for her. With a Healthy chunk in Tactics, it can tank pretty much indefinitely thanks to the gigantic heal that is Victory is Mine {E} + Caltrops. Shroud of Distress allows for some great emergency longevity since this build was designed to get surrounded. The idea is to mercilessly spike one by one your foes with Final Thrust using To the Limit! as an AoE "striker" so to speak.

Since your foe will always have 2 conditions on them when done properly, Signet of Malice should keep ya condition free. ViM! works with AoE Cripple and bleeding quite well but a tactics heavy idea is in the works as I type...

for PvP, I think the ideal W/A sword babe should be:

16 Swordsmanship
9 Strength
10 Deadly Arts

Sever Artery
Gash
Final Thrust
Wild Blow
Frenzy
Sprint
Shroud of Silence {E}
Signet of Malice [or res sig if monk has a brain...]

Any thoughts?

Using Wild Blow after Final Thrust makes a good finisher. Shroud freakin' kills with 8 seconds of shutdown. If teammates are stopping their anti-hexers, this build should kill with frightening ease.

I think ViM even on a A/W would be very good. Watch Yourself'll make up for the sin's lack of armor, but overall I think W/A would be more damaging.

If I wanted A/W, I'd be in the Assassin thread...

However, Watch yourself on a sin is kind of pointless since you're not a tank no matter how you look at it... No good AoE outside Death Blossom to consider...

W/A for PvE can still do wild AoE affects thanks to Cripple but not as much damage reduction like Enfeebling Blood would do...

I luv the W/N!

Ah, here's the 16 Tactics version of said build: still W/A

16 tactics
9 swordsmanship
10 shadow arts

To the Limit!
Riposte
Deadly Riposte
Bonetti's Defense
Gladiator's Defense {E}
Shield Stance
Healing Signet
Shroud of Distress

The recycle time of the stances overlap very well and Shroud of Distress can keep ya damage free for quite a while if things get ugly. Thankfully, you have stances, enchantment, shout, and signet to keep you alive while the Gladiator, Ripostes keep your enemies dying rapidly. Unfortunately, I can't see it doing any offensive damage but instead do TONS of reflective damage. If nobody swings at her, she can't hurt anything...

Any idea to make my wife's Tactics W/A do more damage but still be nearly unkillable?

unless they have changed the effects on riposte/deadly riposte/glads defence you will get owned by ranged/magic users sure youll kick ass against melee but you have nothing to counter balance ranged/magic attacks thus rendering you useless, this build however would be good farming melee targets but i dont see it doing jack in general pve missions/quests...

I'd say sub Shadow Refuge in for Shroud of Distress.
